Hallfield hosted yet another fabulous World Book Day Celebration!

The halls and classrooms were abuzz with excitement as hundreds of enthusiastic parents, children, and staff paraded in magnificent costumes inspired by their favourite books. Pupils and parents alike enjoyed a delightful breakfast while immersed in the pages of their cherished literary works.
In Pre-Prep, author Clare Bell’s visit was a highlight, captivating each year group with her stories and inspiring them to craft their own tales. With Clare’s guidance, children learned to stretch their imaginations and create unique narratives of their own.
Meanwhile, in the Prep assembly, author Steve Webb joined the festivities. Pupils eagerly engaged in drawing characters from Steve’s latest book, “Peng and Spanners,” during the morning sessions.
In the afternoon sessions, Steve Webb held workshops with Prep about superheroes and signed the children’s books!
