Aftercare is a service offered by Hallfield School for those families needing childcare from 4:00pm. Pre-Prep and Prep School children are catered for separately, and members of our Afternoon Clubs – in which much of our co-curricular activities take place – can be sent to Aftercare once over the club has finished.

Our younger children are supervised by Hallfield staff. We adhere to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and activities are planned accordingly. Year 1 and Year 2 children have a choice of games using both indoors and outside and include imaginative play and art activities. As part of the aftercare service, children staying after 5:00 pm are served a hot tea. When the weather is fine, all children can enjoy the extensive play facilities and play areas.

Our aftercare service can be very beneficial as it can improve children’s social skills and provide additional academic support.

Why Choose Our Aftercare Service?

Our aftercare service will of course have the utmost care for your child and we will include a variety of fun and creative activities for the children. This aftercare service provides the perfect opportunity for helping children with learning difficulties and it can help them build more confidence in themselves and their own abilities.

Aftercare can be booked in advance or on the day. The full session from 4:30 pm to 6.00 pm is charged at £14.00, if booked ad-hoc with a hot meal served at 5:00 pm once the half-hour homework session ends. There is, unfortunately, a substantial surcharge made for late collection after 6:00 pm.

If you would like to use our aftercare, then please get in touch with us and we will be more than delighted to help. You can find more information about our full fees here.
