At Hallfield, we don’t believe that learning – or fun – has to stop during the holidays. That’s why both our Pre-Prep and Prep Schools offer a Holiday Activity programme for children attending the School.
For Pre-Prep children, the Holiday Activity Programmes are staffed by teachers, teaching assistants and nursery nurses working at Hallfield School. We have a variety of holiday activities that are planned around themed weeks and take place both indoors and outdoors. Children attend in home clothes and can bring with them their bikes and helmets.
Any given day in the Pre-Prep School Holiday Activity Programme is structured to provide the children the opportunity to cook, take part in practical activities, play games and use the outdoors if the weather permits. In the summer holiday clubs, children use the paddling pool and slippery slide which is great fun and ice creams are always popular in the hot weather!
Prep School children also have the opportunity to take part in the Holiday Activity Programme. Weeks themed around Dance, Drama, Multi-Sports and ‘Young Apprentice’ have proven to be very popular with the children. Specialist providers and Hallfield staff offer a range of fun, exciting and challenging activities for the children.
In addition, Aston Villa provides hugely popular Soccer Courses for a period of two weeks in the summer holidays. The standard of coaching is excellent and children (boys and girls) of all levels of ability have fun improving their skills, personal fitness, and knowledge of the game. Similarly, Moseley Rugby Football Club also runs a week’s rugby camp for children from ages 5-15.
All aspects of the Hallfield Holiday Activity Programme are structured to provide a fun and exciting way to enable children to learn new skills and grow in confidence. The results speak for themselves: happy children … and happy parents!
