Year 3 arrived at Boundless Outdoors for their exciting residential trip! Eager to stretch their legs after the coach journey, they jumped straight into an outdoor challenge under glorious sunshine. With lunch just around the corner, spirits were high! In the afternoon, the children settled into their rooms and made their beds, ready for the adventures ahead.
In the afternoon, Year 3 pupils threw themselves into a range of exciting activities that challenged their teamwork, resilience, and outdoor skills. Grass sledging was a clear favourite—children worked together to pull sledges uphill and took turns pushing each other down. While a few were nervous at first, the encouragement of their peers helped everyone enjoy the thrill.
Throughout the afternoon, the children took part in team-building challenges, using communication and creative thinking to solve problems together. With each attempt, they grew more confident and resourceful.
They also explored bushcraft skills, including fire lighting and shelter building. Spirits were high as they gathered around their own fire to enjoy a well-earned treat of hot chocolate and warm juice—a brilliant way to celebrate their achievements and time spent outdoors.
Year 3 had an exciting day 2 at Boundless Outdoors. From mining and climbing to bushcraft and fire making, the children built their teamwork and problem-solving skills while developing resilience and confidence. There was no shortage of energy or focus, as they made the most of every challenge thrown their way.
It was the final day of the Year 3 residential trip, but the adventure was far from over! From zip lining and climbing to archery and conquering fears on the high ropes, the pupils embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and courage. Their behaviour was exemplary throughout — well done, everyone!
