We are proud of our excellent reputation for how successful our pupils are in the classroom – but we are just as keen of their achievements on the sport field, too.

Our teams, from athletics and netball to cricket and rugby, are always striving for further silverware. We encourage all children at Hallfield to take part in sporting activities and co-curricular activities, considering it both a healthy and important activity. We believe that sport bolsters self-esteem and fosters teamwork and relationship-building.

Why Choose Our Sports Co-Curricular Activities?

Our extensive on-site facilities make all this possible – from our sports fields and pavilion to our AstroTurf and hard playing areas, or our gym hall and indoor cricket nets, we can accommodate a variety of sporting activities and interests. Our sports teachers and coaches are passionate about building fantastic teams and nurturing great individual players. Whatever the sport your child chooses, they can look forward to a lot of fun – whilst being challenged to achieve their absolute best.

Sport at Hallfield can involve competing in tournaments with other schools, which as well as encouraging friendly competition, can also lead to new friendships beyond the bounds of Hallfield. It can also involve new relationships within School: between year groups and forms.

We’re always looking at ways to enhance and enrich our sports provision. One of the highlights of Hallfield’s sporting calendar is our Sports Days. These are family events at which parents cheer their children and celebrate successes of all kinds. We look forward to seeing you at the start line!

If your child would like to take part in our Sports co-curricular activities or if you would like to enrol your child into Hallfield School, then please get in touch with us. We would be more than delighted to assist you.
