House Music Finalists Announced

A total of 78 students from Years 3 to 8 auditioned for one of the 30 places in the House Music Semi-Final. Last week, the 30 semi-finalists — five from our six categories – strings, woodwind, brass, vocal, guitar&drums, and piano – performed as soloists in Semi-Final Concerts. The concerts demonstrated the incredible talent that Hallfield students possess; it was a tough competition, well done to everyone who participated!

I have been delighted to see and hear so many pupils representing their house as part of the House Music Competition. We now have a large number of pupils at Hallfield School who are enjoying learning to play a wide range of instruments and every pupil who has participated in the competition should feel very proud of themselves.
