Hallfield First given Startwell Award

The Startwell Award is an award given to Early Years settings in Birmingham that promote healthy lifestyles through healthy eating and physical activity. The main objective of the award is to ensure that children at Nursery receive a healthy balanced lifestyle, both in terms of their diet and physical activity throughout the day.

To obtain the award, we had to provide evidence of how we achieve this objective and share our plans with parents, giving them tasks to participate in outside of Nursery to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. We then added this evidence to our submission. We are looking forward to completing the Advanced award next term as well.
