Animals in Hands
Our Year 2s got hands on with some furry and slippery subjects this week in our Animals In Hands workshop.
They took part in a range of fun and engaging activities. These included making clay owls with Miss Watton and making shadow owl puppets out of paper.
The children learnt lots of interesting facts about all of the nocturnal animals they met which included a snake, an owl, spiders and a hedgehog.
Plus, they also got to handle them under the watchful eye of the Animal Man, Safeer.
It was the perfect way to celebrate National Animal Day.
