This morning our Year 6 children got arty in Science when they were tasked with making Scribble-bots.
Dr Mackenzie challenged the children to use their knowledge of electricity and electrical components to create a self-scribbling robot.
For this, they used two pens, a cardboard cup, and some electrical components such as connectors, a motor and a battery.
Dr MacKenzie said: “You will be surprised to see how easy it is to make a scribble-bot. They are a fun way to bring a little art into electrical science lessons.
“The children had lots of fun learning about motors, DC power, electrical engineering, and the basic design of a robot.”
