Year 4 pupils took part in their special LAMDA performance this afternoon infront of parents. Grade 1 and 2 Speech groups gave their first public performance of the poems and readings they have prepared for their forthcoming LAMDA examinations.
The programme included a wide range of performances, from classic readings by Roald Dahl, to more modern choral pieces by Terry Caffrey. The children have shown great commitment to their Speech lessons, having attended classes with Ms Jackson and Mrs Williams on Tuesday mornings and lunchtimes.
They have enjoyed learning to engage imaginatively with the thought, emotion and style of a text, as well as developing skills in voice, diction and posture. Thank you to the parents who attended this wonderful performance today and well done to our Year 4 performers, please take a look at the photos below!
