We held our first Tea-Time Concert of the term on Wednesday 4th March, with parents invited along to enjoy refreshments whilst listening to their children.

Thomas in Year 4 sang ‘The Owls’ by Peter Jenkyns. Hannah, also in Year 4, played ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’ by Edvard Grieg on Piano. Another excellent pianist, Chloe, played ‘Musette in D’.

Next up were our flute players in Year 5. Yash played ‘Clown Dance’ by Bloers and Feryal played ‘German Tune’.

The Flute Ensemble, consisting of Ruqayyah, Giorgio, Yash and Feryal played ‘Canon of Peace’.

From Year 6, Aditya played ‘Prelude’ by Carl Reinecke on the Piano and Giorgio played the Guitar piece ‘Malagueria’.

To finish the concert, the Guitar Ensemble consisting of Giorgio, Thom, Amaan, Malakhi, Edward, Anthony and Pratyush played two songs by Longworth and Walker: ‘The Cat’s Whiskers’ and ‘Samurai Sword’.
