Year 2 children had been learning about colour theory before Christmas and had a good knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary colours, which they have recapped on over the last few weeks. During lesson four, the children looked at how a colour wheel can be used. In this case, how colours opposite each other on the wheel contrast with each other; they are called Complementary Colours. The children used these colours to make eye-popping designs.
The children then experimented with complementary colours to help make their names stand out.
