On Friday 14th February, there was love in the air at Hallfield! The day started with an assembly from class 6JW and they told us how love is celebrated in many countries around the world with many amusing examples.
Some of our Year 1 children have been going along to our ‘Creative Cottage’ for their enrichment lessons. This morning they met the chickens, drew their favourite one, learned all about eggs and how to whisk them!
In preparation for the launch of Year 7 in September, we invited those who were able to attend to sample a typical day in Hallfield Seniors. The highlight of the day seemed to be the workshop where they shared their ideas with Mr Morrow. We look forward to welcoming all Year 7 pupils in the Autumn Term.
Throughout the day, we’d hidden love hearts around the school. As the children discovered the hearts, they took them along to Mr Morrow who presented their prizes. Well done to so many children for spotting them!
