Assisted places

Giving all children the chance

We are committed to widening access for all children to Hallfield so our governors have committed to making funds available for some free and part-funded places.

How does the Assisted Places Scheme work?

Assisted places are means-tested bursaries which provide financial support with school fees. They are available to eligible parents of children entering Years 3 to 8. Assisted places are only available to children joining us in the Autumn Term. The assessment takes place in the January prior to entry.

The award offered will be determined by means-testing. We review changes in a family’s financial circumstances each year to ensure the funding is being targeted towards those who need it the most.
