We appreciate how daunting it can be to entrust your child to someone else, and because of this we operate a ‘key worker’ approach. Although our staff work as a team and share the responsibility of caring for your son or daughter, your child’s key worker will oversee his or her care. He or she will nurture your child as well as monitor and observe progress towards a series of goals tailored to his or her specific needs.

Every 6 months we will invite you to a formal review with your child’s key worker; in practice, informal reviews happen almost daily as your child’s key worker is available whenever you want to discuss anything, however small. The nursery manager is also always happy to discuss matters in confidence.

All staff are qualified, experienced and dedicated. They have been trained specifically to work with children aged 0 – 2 years and receive ongoing internal and external training to ensure that they are up to date with current best practice and legislation. All staff have been cleared by the C.R.B. and have undergone medical screening.

We operate a staff to child ratio of 1:3 for children under 2. Nursery vouchers are accepted in Hallfieldfirst.
